I think you could consider changing colliders of trees, characters etc. so that colliders are only at feet/ground level - that way player can walk behind trees instead of bouncing from top of them(I think Unity's tutorial "Ruby's Adventure" covers that and I really recommend It). Anyways I managed to get bad ending haha. I enjoyed your music choice.

I explored all the scenes but couldn't figure out how to see those endings you talk about in the description. I found a horse took it and couldn't return it to its owner. Good job anyways!

To get the endings, you have to talk to Blind Jim, find his horse, talk to Blind Jim, go inside the barn, talk to Shady Steve.

Why is the music so depressing

I think it has more of a nostalgic feeling to it.
